Knowlent's Opal product provides verification IP an environment to check compliance against industry standards interface protocols such as PCIExpress, Serial ATA, XAUI, etc. The analysis results are presented in a table-based GUI which looks like an electrical specification of the protocol being checked. Results failing compliance are highlighted with users having the ability to drill down into the analysis details. As part of Opal's extensive drill-down capability, user's can also leverage the seamlessly integrated Debussy nWave tool from Novas to pinpoint failing cycles and visualize and examine simulation results around the point of failure.
