Calypto Design Systems, Inc is a privately held EDA company focused on bridging electronic system-level design and integrated circuit (IC) implementation. Calypto products reduce IC design verification time and costs and increase flexibility and confidence in design and architectural optimization. Calypto's product, SLEC verifies functional equivalence by comparing a design against a golden reference design. If the designs are not functionally equivalent, SLEC detects the design difference and immediately generates a counter-example for debug. As part of the integration with Novas, SLEC outputs this counter-example in the form of a waveform in FSDB format which can then be simply input to the Novas debugging environment.
