Novas Community Helps Raise Money for Toys for Tots Charity

From mid December 2007 to early January 2008, Novas Software’s community of users and partners helped Novas donate $1,000 to the Marine Toys for Tots Program.  Over 400 members of the Novas Community participated in an online game created by Novas to donate money to the charitable organization.

This Toys for Tots online donation drive is the most recent example of how Novas enables its community members to help give to the broader community. Novas has developed fundraising initiatives for many other deserving organizations over the past few years that have been met with great response. About Toys for Tots

Toys for Tots, a 60 year charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to disadvantaged children during each Christmas holiday season.  The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by the Marines offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime.  It is such experiences that help children become responsible citizens and caring members of their community.  Last year the Marine Corps fulfilled the holiday hopes and dreams of 7.7 million underprivileged children.  Since 1947 over 180 million children have been assisted.
