Industry Veteran to Head Europe for Novas
Paul Gibson Joins as Vice President, Sales, Europe
SAN JOSE, Calif., January 15, 2007 - Novas Software, Inc., the leader in debug systems for complex chip designs, today announced that Paul Gibson, will be joining as Vice President, Sales, Europe. Paul joins from Zenasis, where he was General Manager and Vice President of Sales, Europe. The European team will be boosted further by the addition of Paul Nottingham, also from Zenasis, who joins as Sales Account Manager with responsibility for sales in Northern Europe.
Paul Gibson brings to Novas over 23 years of
operations and sales experience in
the semiconductor and EDA sector. He has been responsible for
establishing many EDA products as the "accepted standard"
across the European electronics industry and
beyond. Paul has held senior positions in
companies such as Cadence, European Silicon Structures, Intel,
Synchronicity and Viewlogic.

Paul Nottingham was European Technical Director with Zenasis and previously served as European Director of High Tech Solutions for MatrixOne following its acquisition of Synchronicity in 2004. While at Synchronicity, as European Technical Manager, he was responsible for solution development and technology deployments across many of the biggest semiconductor, fabless and COT companies.
Novas' European team also includes five Applications Consultants, Jens Dickel (Dusseldorf), Dejan Oljaca (Munich), Jerome Peillat (Grenoble), Ajay Sharma (UK), and Arnold Sher (Israel).
