Novas Launches Interactive Community Online User Forums
Debug Leader Extends Customer Service Capability with User-to-User Discussions
for Sharing Best Practices in Verification and Debug
SAN JOSE, Calif., December 3, 2007 - Novas Software, Inc., the leader in debug and visibility enhancement solutions for complex chip designs, today announced the introduction of its Novas online community discussion forums targeted at promoting user-to-user interaction. These forums enable the Novas user community to share ideas, best practices and production-proven tips for maximizing the effectiveness of Novas debug and verification solutions.
Novas' commitment to customer service earned Novas the #1 ranking in customer satisfaction for five consecutive years in the CMP Media survey from 2001 to 2006 (survey not conducted in 2007). The new online user forums are an extension of that commitment enabling the global community of approximately 10,000 Novas users to collaborate with each other. They also mark the second phase of Novas' community-building initiative, which first launched in 2002 with the Novas User Conferences (NUCs) held annually around the world.
"We have a broad and active user community, and so we are continuously exploring and implementing ways to connect with our users and help them engage with one another to produce the most valuable verification experience possible," said Scott Sandler, president and CEO of Novas. "It is exciting to be one of the first EDA vendors to provide interactive online forums that make it easy for users to share and network on the issues and topics that are important to them."
Online Discussion Forums
The online forums provide a platform for Novas users to post questions and responses to their peers about verification methods, products and technology. Users are able to create or add to discussions on a variety of topics including SoC verification, verification enhancement methods, visibility enhancement, debug, and more. They can also search for specific discussion topics within the forum and browse/query the Novas knowledge base for verification tips, technical articles and the latest versions of product literature and release notes. Users can go to http://europa.novas.com/forums to login into the Novas community forums and immediately take part in online discussions.
Novas User Conferences
The 2007 International User Conference program kicked off in July with tutorials and case studies developed to give chip designers practical knowledge for tackling the functional verification of large designs.
